I AM A NYC AND SAN FRANCISCO BASED CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I'm passionate about delivering results that engage and inspire through an authentic lens. My vision is to enrich the digital experience, seamlessly across marketing channels with compelling imagery and stories that take the customer on a journey that evokes emotion and feels unique.
My experience spans from establishing and implementing the creative vision and brand strategy at the grass roots level for award-winning non-profits, to leading and managing the visual expression both digitally and offline as Creative Director for rapidly growing digital services.
In 2015, I joined Stitch Fix as their first Creative Director. My vision was centered around providing an authentic, detail oriented eye to help blend their unique Science + Art model so the visual experience felt cohesive, unique, and elevated across all forms of digital marketing.
Mercado Global is an award winning and Clinton Global Initiative recognized non-profit that provides access to business training, community-based education programs, and microloans for technology to indigenous woman artisans in Guatemala.
I joined the organization in 2010 as their first Creative Director, spearheading the development of Mercado Global, the brand. I led the rebranding of the organization, including brand strategy, logo, web design, packaging, textile and product design, sourcing, product development, and overall Creative Direction that positioned the brand as a leader in ethical fashion.
COMPTOIR DES CONTONNIERS
In the Spring of 2014 I spearheaded the design, development, and creative direction of a collection for Comptoir des Contonniers, a French contemporary fashion brand owned by Fast Retailing. The collection mobilized 121 female indigenous artisans in Guatemala and provided over 25,000 hours of work. The product was distributed to stores in France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, China, and the U.S. Interactive Ads were placed on billboards and bus stops throughout Europe. Press was garnered in Vogue, Marie Claire, and Elle, among others to highlight this powerful story of bridging the gap between artisan manufacturing and large retailers.
In the Spring of 2015 I spearheaded the design, development, and creative direction of a handbag collection for J.Crew. The collection helped bring awareness to J.Crew's "In Good Company" e-commerce concept store featuring brands that told stories of craftsmanship, quality, and philanthropic endevours.
AHMULA is a creative agency that is driven by the source of inspiration - brands, individuals, products, and services who are driving change in the world and inspiring others along the way. I led and executed the brand identification, journal layout, and overall creative direction.
